This ad for an Uber drivers is on a receipt from Subway. I am seeing their ads everywhere. Why not?
Uber has nothing invested and they can hire as many as they want. That is whats going to do them in. There will eventually be so many drivers, they will be crawling all over each other.
Los Angeles has 16 million people. They will end up with 10 million Uber drivers and six million Lyft. That's one ride share driver for every one person in the county. Just be your own driver and you will have it made.
This will collapse because the people won't make any money. It will soon reach an equilibrium point, at which, drivers earn a modest income. Drivers fall off, service suffers. Riders are soon back with the cab.
