Tampa Taxi Shots

This is just a test of a new app. It is supposed to perform direct video upload. It also allows easy photo loads and sections. Such as Love Smith was fired last night.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers beat the Atlanta Falcons today in a close contest. I work the game because there is money to be made at the game. While I was waiting in the taxi holding area I could see the jumbotron from by Taxi and could hear the audio very well. I watch the Bucks come from behind and win the game and then people began leaving the stadium. I picked up several rides today from the stadium beginning at the end of the first quarter. I have always been amazed at how early people begin leaving NFL football games. You would think, since they have a lot of money invested in tickets, that they would at least stick around to watch. But it seems, people have their reasons and they need to get to other places. Such as this group of guys that were more interested in going to a whorehouse than watching the rest of the game. They of course, relied on the experience cab driver, me, to take them to a local cat house. I took them to one that uses the guise of massage. The reason was be...

There should many moments of glory in Tampa Bay Jameis Winston began his run for Super Bowl MVP yesterday in the blinding rain at Buccaneer training camp. You can see from the video below, there is a lot to work on. It was raining and he must have been excited. I am really glad football season is here. Taxi drivers make real money at these games and Uber is not allowed to pick up. There is a taxi and limo area...not an Uber/Lyft area.

null (via http://ble.ac/teamstream-) http://teamstre.am/1AoAGni The new future of the Bucs had begun. posted from Bloggeroid

I have been here from the beginning and the Bucs have a horrible record with draft picks. Their quarterback picks never get a second contract and then move on and win Super Bowls with other teams. Doug Williams went on to win a Super Bowl with the Redskins. Vinny Testaverde was a pro bowler with two different teams. Steve Young won a Super Bowl and went to the Hall of Fame. Trent Dilfer won a Super Bowl with the Ravens. Josh Freeman had a promising start in Tampa but faded fast. Do you see a pattern here? If the Buccaneers are to return to greatness, it all starts with this pick. All indications are they will take Jameis Winston over Marcuis Mariota. If this works, Lovie Smith will be here for a long time. If not? Its just the Bucs. Sad. Very sad posted from Bloggeroid

Clay Matthews after beating the Bucs and sacking our QB all day long The Bucs continue their qwest to secure the number one picked on the NFL draft. Losing to Green Bay was a good thing. It means massive change is in order. Everyone knows we need a quarterback. Even the announcers of the game said that. Josh McCown sucks. I would draft Marcus Mariotta, no doubt. Lovely Smith will keep his job but he is clearly on the hot seat next year.

Watch Mike Evens catch this TD pass from Mike Glennon the Buccaneers QB. These could be the stars of the future. posted from Bloggeroid

This is the fly over before kickoff. Tampa fans are hoping for a new and improved Buccaneers team. We will see. New coach Lovie Smith and lots of new players. The new theme is "protect the treasure." Again, I don't know what will happen. All I know as a fan is it would be good to see then start winning some games at home. It would help the taxi business. posted from Bloggeroid

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are projected to surpass the NFL’s threshold of 85% tickets sold for the majority of the team’s home regular season slate of games in 2014. Based on those sales projections, the team ensures that all 2014 home games will be broadcast locally. The Buccaneers are also ensuring that the two preseason home games against the Miami Dolphins (8/16) and Washington Redskins (8/28) will be broadcast live by the team's official preseason broadcast partner WFLA-TV News Channel 8. The Buccaneers host their intra-state rival the Miami Dolphins at Raymond James Stadium on Saturday, August 16 at 7:30 pm. The game will be broadcast live on WFLA-TV News Channel 8 beginning with the “Bucs Bonus Pregame Show” at 7:00 p.m. Individual game tickets in most price categories remain available for all games except for Tampa Bay's Week 16 matchup against Green Bay, which is currently sold out. Season pass member packages are also available. Fans should visit the Tickets secti...

THIS WAS POSTED IN JANUARY OF 2006 hours before the Redskin v Buccaneers wildcard playoff game: This was the scene from my taxi about 3 hours before kickoff. The traffic was already backed up past Borders Book Store. I pulled into the book store and spent about an hour browsing. I bought the soundtrack to Brokeback Mountain. It is pure Country Western without any hint of homosexuality. Willie Nelson..Emyle Harris..that sort of stuff. What I did not know was that the crowd was going to be about 10,000 Redskin Fans! What the hell is that! This is our stadium. The ones I was picking up later told me they where getting the tickets on-line! That means that our fans where giving their tickets up. What! Why our you doing this? I have always been suspicious of Redskin Fans. THIS CITY IS THE CITY OF CHAMPIONS. YOU ARE TURNING IT INTO GOOBER VILLE! You GODDAMN IDIOTS! This was an embarrassment.  I'm driving around all afternoon not picking up our people only people with PIG NOSE...

This is the time of year people are so happy to see any kind of football that a sled drill becomes a Twitter hit. Can't wait until bodies start slamming. Oh, it is VERY HOT man!

As Lovie Smith was holding his press conference after the Bugs first practice of training camp, this rainbow appeared over Tampa Bay. There was rain in the area and I believe it was a sign. Remember, you heard it here first. posted from Bloggeroid

Great photography This is one of the young women that is a cheerleader for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. I found her picture on the Pewter Report. There seemed to be a whole thread devoted to the girls that dominate this squad. I wonder why!

The new logo and colors of the Tampa Bay Bucs are in display on the side of Raymond James stadium. I like the dark motifs and think it is mire menacing. With Lovie Smith at the helm, the Bucs may be looking at many years of stability like in the Tony Dingy era.

With football season over, I thought I would put up a picture of Tony dungy his first day of training camp for the Bugs. His first season on his first day. Who knew how successful he would become. This was at the University of Tampa sports complex running across the street.

With the loses mounting and attendance falling, the owners of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers had no choice but to fire Greg Schiavo. EVERYONE I talk to in the taxi is glad for that. Wow. Now we move on.

The Bucs hung in there to the end but the 49ers had just too much for them in the end. I like home games because you can make money at them. When you pick up in the taxi area, you never know where anyone is going. The trick is to avoid getting stuck in heavy traffic.

The Bucs held off Miami by coming from behind on a 80 yard drive lead by poised rookie Mike Glennon. Good job. You got to start somewhere.

A blogger friend of mine, with great seats in the air conditioning at Raymond James Stadium, just sent me this photo. The Saints are playing the Bucs at a 4:15 kickoff. Its sunny and hot and the stadium is sold out. The game will be televised live in the Tampa Bay area. I did good today taking people to the game and now I am home too watch it. I hear many other games this year may be sold out. That will be good for business. Now, we hope the Bucs can return to winning football.
