Sleeping with the enemy

I sort of stick out in this sea of pink
I always seem to get on TV. This is Tim Fasano (in the yellow shirt with camera) sitting in the room full of Lyft and Uber drivers. Did you ever feel really alone? These rideshare people are operating an illegal business that is cutting into my livelyhood, and I wanted the Hillsborough County Commission to know it. The Lyft drivers are a bunch of punks and  kids who have never worked a day in their lives. They will get whats coming to them.
How do you spell douchebags?

You will see me in the video shown on the local news.

    ....and I thought Lyft drivers were smarter than wearing stupid pink shirts, but it appears to me, they are so brainwashed, they don't even know what is going rate to transport people around Tampa Bay
    ~ $2.40/mile , $0.50 a minute waiting time and company cab
    These morons are doing exactly the same service at
    $1.35 a mile, $0.14 a minute waiting time with their own cars.........LOL
    .......and they think, they are on top of the game because Lyft said so
    What a bunch of sorry ass losers ....
    We need to educate them in some way..........and cut off the supply of new drivers for Uber and Lyft

      Their drivers are new and doing it as a lark. All them have around only a month or two. Most of the drivers that spoke, have decades invested in this. Victor Crist needs to do his jib and banish these illegals.

A lyft car at the Iconic sign on Florida ave downtown Tampa I have been a hack in Tampa Florida since 1995. Unlike the estimated 50% of Americans that hate their jobs, I have never had a day when I did not feel like going to work. The Taxi Truman Show

I may have found the escape hatch Regulated Taxi driving is now dead. Uber has taken over. The current situation is no longer tenable for drivers who face an old model of cab leasing, and can no longer continue paying a Pre-Uber lease. Today was the tipping point. Getting better

The redness and swelling are going away and I can actually walk now. I just have to stay on the antibiotics and dressing the wound. I should be in rare form soon. You have no idea how bad I've felt.

Tampa Bay Downs

I went to the horse races at Tampa Bay Downs Sunday. It had been years since I had been there. Not much had changed except the Daily Racing Form is now 9 bucks. I paid it because I am from the old school, and want more comprehensive information then the track program. It did not seem to do me much good. The horse above was a maiden claiming horse. She had the top jockey and trainer on the track. Even one of the handicappers in the DRF picked the horse. So, I bet her across the board. She came in dead last. I mean I took a photo of her chasing the other horses. They not even in the frame. I actually felt sorry for the horse. Anyway, Tom could not make it, so I only stayed for a few races. I even managed to win a race. As you can see it was a nice day, so I enjoy the sights and sounds of the racetrack. They had a good crowd and most people seemed to be having fun. Stuck in the mud and a ripoff tow

Kevin and I went to a walkthrough at a nature preserve. It was full of wildlife and we even found an abandoned hunting cabin from decades ago. That was there long before civilization found its way to north Hillsborough county. I'm glad we found the cabin because it began to rain like crazy. It rained for a good half hour before we could finish the hike. We then went as far as we could but much of the trails were flooded. You see I have boots on. When we got back to the cars, there was standing water for we were in the grass. I started the cab and buried it in the mud. You should have been there. You would have laughed your ass off. After waiting 2.5 hours for the tow, he winched me on to the parking lot and charged $100. I found out the charge should have been $45. I think the company will dispute this. Sukka the cat

There is a lady I pick up every morning that puts $100 in my pocket (paid by our great accounts). Her cat comes out and loves me and rubs up on me every morning. Uber has nothing like this. United Cab driver's are rocking out while Uber punks live for nine dollar fares that they have to give 20% to Ubet. Great gig guys. LOL! Sukka loves me because I am legal and you scum drivers suck hind tit...boys and girls. Get over it. I rule and make more in one hour then you do in one day. Victor Crist is a fool

Idiot There really is no other word for it. The article in today's Tampa Tribune says Victor Crist is close to a deal with Uber on issues of background checks and insurance. If this goes the way he says it is going, than Uber and Lyft will be legal in Hillsborough County. What Victor Crist does not realize is that the ride share companies are jerking him off. It feels good too him but he is not getting anywhere. I have attended many meetings of the HCPTC County Commission for years where Victor Crist will claim progress is being made. He will say he is working with the lawyers and representatives of Uber and they are oh so close. Months go by and he says we are getting close. Years go by and Crist says we are getting close. Does he not realize they he is being played for a fool. In the meantime. All of our taxi business goes away to these illegal operators because this asshole won't put the hammer down. Mr. Crist, just enforce the law and stop trying to accommodate thes...
