This sort of thing just seems to keep happening on a daily basis. I have been driving taxi Tampa Florida full-time for 21 years and I have never heard of taxi driver ever being arrested. For what reason do people say that they feel safer riding with her. I think that's because they are riding with an American White driver. Please explain to me how that would make you safer. It's amazing how blind people can be to reality with dealing with an unregulated form of transportation. They like it only because it's cheap but their lives are at risk.

The Uber driver murder spree is lighting up our board. The red means these are zones that hve active calls in them. Recently, the board has not looked like this but people no longer trust uber. They do not clear people thru law enforcement like the regulated cab industry does and they pay a price for that. A woman used a campus safety app to call for help when her Uber driver grabbed her butt, ultimately leading to the driver's arrest. A student at USC called for an Uber on Saturday night. The driver took her to the University Park neighborhood near 30th Street as she requested, but when she went to get out of the car, the driver allegedly grabbed her butt, the L.A. Times reports. The student used the app LiveSafe USCTrojan Mobile Safety to alert authorities. The app is available for students and staff at the school and allows them to contact police with one tap. Police arrested 29-year old Adam R. Stevenson. The 30-year old woman and her husband told police the incident happened last Saturday just after 3am. She says they called Uber for a ride home from downtown Springfield. Stevenson picked them up, and while driving he exposed and touched himself while the woman was in the front seat. Police arrested Stevenson yesterday for disorderly conduct. Management at Uber says Stevenson will be removed as one of their drivers.

An Uber driver was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon Sunday in an alleged road rage incident with a bicyclist at San Francisco’s Fisherman’s Wharf. According to police, the incident happened at 1:30 p.m. at North Point and Taylor Streets. Police said the bicyclist rode up to the Uber driver’s black 4-door Toyota Camry and started yelling at him and pounding on the window. He continued swearing at the Uber driver, identified as 38-year-old Emerson Decarvalho of Daly City, and pushed his side-mirror in. After a heated exchange, the bicyclist peddled off, but the Uber vehicle sped up and struck the back of the bike, police said.
