Tampa Taxi Shots

A nice sunset on the Gulf Coast This was taken on Clearwater Beach back in the day. It was shot with film and a cd backup. That was really one of the real advantages of film over digital. You would process your film and actually have the photos to show for it. Who knows where all of our Facebook images will be ten years from now, or the ones you have on your computer. Print them out so you will have them in the future. I am still trying to get back into that kind of shape I was in back them. Swimming is my main line right now because I need the awesome cardio it provides. My blood work is a testament to that. The recession was rough for me. I hope to be able to make up some major ground right now.

I had a drop off in Clearwater Beach (not far from where I live. I mean their vacation rental was right a beach access. Nice. They were from the cold north and they were ready to enjoy some fun in the sun. Good for them. The locals must work like anywhere else. Across the street was an abandoned Beach house. Perhaps a testament to the economic collapse that disrupted many lives in Florida. As I was looking at it thinking of the potential, this friendly cat emerged. I really hope he was not just left behind. I could see if he was feral. Anyway, hanging out at the beach. Not bad. I named him "Beach Bum."

Working on her sun tan on Clearwater Beach Come down to Clearwater Beach in the Tampa Bay area for some fun in the sun. While you are shoveling snow up north, you could be working on your tan - like these girls. Bring you golf clubs and your bathing suit. Clear blue skies and mid 70's await you. You just might mingle with these hot bikini babes. For sure if you go to Hogan's Beach Club. That is where all the hot people are hanging out.  Don't forget to ride in a legal taxi cab and not the illegal Uber or Lyft        

The crowds are thick and there are signs of expansion. Many of the mom and pop properties were torn down to make way for condos. This happened in 2006, just before the economic collapse. Well shazam. That kind of sucked In Clearwater today you could see tower cranes in the distance. That is something I have not seen in years. Must mean the economic is recovering. posted from Bloggeroid

I had a ride to Clearwater Beach the other day and I like to maintain the tradition of showing how pretty it is. It wad a sunny day and there was lots of activity on the strip. You can see the people standing by the taxi taking it light. This is the world famous pier 60. Clearly the place to go at sunset and watch the sun slip into another hemisphere. You will also be entertained by street performers, who expect a little tip. United Cab of Tampa going down Gulf boulevard. I wish I could have stayed but I did get to hang out a wonder and remembered being a beach bum in Sarasota. Lets see if this new app works right.

This photo demonstrates that there is no excuse for losing your cell phone in a public taxi cab. I was out on Clearwater beach recently and they were having a bikini contest at Sheppard's Beach Resort and I thought I would check it out. I could not believe all the semi-nude women that were walking around, and all of them had cell phones! This young lady in a black string bikini had a unique way of holding on to her phone (note the front of her bikini bottom). The reason I mention this is that people often lose their phones in the taxi cabs. That creates a problem for the driver because we have to waste time returning the phone and people don't always give us a tip, so, we lose a fare. All cab drivers have this problem with phones. If we do return a phone, please understand that we have just missed a call and take care of us. Now people, you can see there is no excuse for not having your phone on your person when you exit the taxi cab. Just leave some plastic gloves so w...
