Tampa Taxi Shots Twitter

My Twitter Page My Twitter site for Tampa Taxi Shots is taking off. I only have 65 post but I now have 123 followers. Big things are in store and you need to be on board. With my new computer with Windows 10 the ability to do more work on this blog and market it is exploding. I have never been in a better position. Now that Uber will be banned from the Sunday night NHL Hockey match between the New York Islanders and Tampa Bay Lightning, we will have the chance to show how superior our service is. And I mean Uber WILL NOT BE ALLOWED NEAR THE STADIUM. Go to my Twitter to see the video I just put up and it is getting traction.

Bucs 23 Falcons 19

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers beat the Atlanta Falcons today in a close contest. I work the game because there is money to be made at the game. While I was waiting in the taxi holding area I could see the jumbotron from by Taxi and could hear the audio very well. I watch the Bucks come from behind and win the game and then people began leaving the stadium. I picked up several rides today from the stadium beginning at the end of the first quarter. I have always been amazed at how early people begin leaving NFL football games. You would think, since they have a lot of money invested in tickets, that they would at least stick around to watch. But it seems, people have their reasons and they need to get to other places. Such as this group of guys that were more interested in going to a whorehouse than watching the rest of the game. They of course, relied on the experience cab driver, me, to take them to a local cat house. I took them to one that uses the guise of massage. The reason was be...

Jameis Winston - AMERICA'S QUARTERBACK

There should many moments of glory in Tampa Bay Jameis Winston began his run for Super Bowl MVP yesterday in the blinding rain at Buccaneer training camp. You can see from the video below, there is a lot to work on. It was raining and he must have been excited. I am really glad football season is here. Taxi drivers make real money at these games and Uber is not allowed to pick up. There is a taxi and limo area...not an Uber/Lyft area.

Lovie Smith is not a good coach

I don't know if he has just been surrounded by talant all his life that made him look better, but something is very wrong in Tampa Bay. Lovie Smith cannot coach. He is a poor judge of talent, his offense lacks a scheme, and the defense is as tough as wet toilet paper. They are terrible. Fans now have no memory of what it was like to walk out of Raymond James stadium with a win and the crowd chanting "go Bucs go." Lovie has not improved the team. He has only brought embarrassment to the Tampa area. As a fan, I was hoping for so much more. posted from Bloggeroid

World Cup crowd at MacDintons pub

A hugh crowd showed up on south Howard to see the USA play in the World Cup first round. The hipsters waiting outside had no idea the USA scored in the first 32 seconds. What's funny is most of these people don't even know the rules of the game. It is just the trendy thing to do. posted from Bloggeroid

Race runners get wet on Bayshore

There were thousands race walking in the Gasparillia run Saturday. It was raining hard but they looked happy. I caught a glimpse from the Hyde Park bridge and got this shot. Looked like fun. More fun then driving a taxi cab.

Go USA!

These people were celebrating this morning from the balconybof a downtown Tampa condo. They were chanting "USA..USA" while cars were blowing their horns. I found out from a fare that we had just beat Russia in hockey at the Winter Olympics. Considering they said they would sacrifice all their gold medals just to win hockey, how cool is that,!

From The Front Seat: Buccaneers fire Greg Schiano

With the loses mounting and attendance falling, the owners of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers had no choice but to fire Greg Schiavo. EVERYONE I talk to in the taxi is glad for that. Wow. Now we move on.

The last NFL home game of the season

The Bucs hung in there to the end but the 49ers had just too much for them in the end. I like home games because you can make money at them. When you pick up in the taxi area, you never know where anyone is going. The trick is to avoid getting stuck in heavy traffic.

Bucs win first game of season

The Bucs held off Miami by coming from behind on a 80 yard drive lead by poised rookie Mike Glennon. Good job. You got to start somewhere.

One hour before kickoff

A blogger friend of mine, with great seats in the air conditioning at Raymond James Stadium, just sent me this photo. The Saints are playing the Bucs at a 4:15 kickoff. Its sunny and hot and the stadium is sold out. The game will be televised live in the Tampa Bay area. I did good today taking people to the game and now I am home too watch it. I hear many other games this year may be sold out. That will be good for business. Now, we hope the Bucs can return to winning football.
