My new blog about Vegas taxi There is a rule of the jungle "adapt or perish." I try to live by that in how I approach taxi driving. Dynamics change and you must be attuned to that and work in different ways. Uber presents something, however, that I can't adjust to. They have taken just too much from us. I don't know if I want to continue living in Tampa now. In the service industry, you can only make real money four months out of the year. The good news is today is the beginning of that four month run. The airport will be my only hope. I don't have it in me to keep going on after that, especially in the face of Uber. ReplyDeletehey Tim,just what I want in my closet, a united and also yellow cab shirt.wtf your in your cab;they can't tell the difference between yellow and united;and you are the driver with your pvdl.You also have to buy min 3 shirts at yellow.Sounds like an employer to me.Just what I want to wear going out to eat.there are starters at the airport in co. uniforms no excuse for this.
ReplyDeleteYo Tim I recall National Linen supplying uniforms, 7 shirts and 7 pants for $15.00 a month. You would give them the dirty ones for clean ones. The plant used to be on Rome just down the street from the shop. But your ONE shirt looks cool. Do the mechanics still get there shirts with their name on them.. Larry 157
