The Price of gas is now lower then when Obama took office

The day Obama became President (notice the price of gas)
It's about time! The photo above was taken at the Racetrack gas station the day Obama took office in 2009. The photo below that is at the same station today and its back to the same level. Gas is a major expense for taxi drivers. Nothing could be better news than to see gas continue to fall.

Gas is lower today then six years ago
Are you going to give the credit to Obama? Is it his economic and energy policies that have led to this fall?

I would like to believe that but I can't.

If it were not for Obama's green energy policies, gas may even be lower then it is today. He has tried to kill the coal industry. He won't allow off shore drilling. He has stopped the pipeline from being built. Thank God, the fracking guys have been able to create a new source of oil and lower the demand for middle east crude.

This president (and his fans) for years wanted investigations into the oil companies because they thought they were gouging the public by artificially raising the price. What the president did not understand was the price of oil is based on world demand.

Damn. That's scary. A president that does not understand basic economic principles.

His retirement cannot come soon enough. He has created much damage.

      Why do you mention black guy? Just wondering. There is no mention of race in my post about world oil demand and redomestication of American oil supply. You call me a "neocon." You say I hate blacks but have voted for conservatives. Typical liberal response all name calling and insults. You not once stuck to any issue. I'm surprised you did not trod out the old stand by: "sexist, intolerant, xenophobic, homophobic Islamophobic, racist and bigoted, not to mention anti-intellectual and anti-science" and other ad hominem attacks that deflect away from topic.

      Here is a great example of what you "St. Pete Lib" are doing. A writer on Rational Wiki was attacking Dennis Prager. This is what he said. It seems like he says a lot but he says NOTHING:

What happened to Tommy Duncan and Sticks of Fire blog?

The image below is a 2005 TBT article I still have about the Tampa blogger scene. The big boy was Tommy Duncan. He stopped blogging around 2008, and was never seen again. Ivy Farms pool part of history

I found this article on the Daily Press website. It will mean nothing to anyone but it means a lot to me. This article wad written in 1993 when the possibility of closing Ivy Farms pool was real. I hear in 2010 it was demolished by the city. Just another nail in my coffin. I always wanted to get up there and swim one more lap. The homeless in Tampa

I see it every day in Tampa. They seem to be at every intersection. Their pleas for help are drawn on the back of cardboard and they seem as common as the traffic lights themselves. Who are these people? What led them to the streets? Should I give them money? Whatever is going on in America is driving people to the street corners, and in Florida, the broiling afternoon sun to try and survive. Some people subscribe to the Urban Myth of the homeless guy “Flying a Sign” and making a couple hundred a day and then going home to his spread in the suburbs. I don’t know about that. Flying a sign does not seem to be a very profitable activity, considering the competition today. Some people believe we should give them a bag with some lame ass crackers and directions to a social center inside instead of money. Bay and Beach taxi van service

Working hard to secure Tampa airport,cruise and hotel service, it seems now Bay and Beach taxi are now using vans with horse trailers (you can see the trailer behind the van). They can move more people and luggage with those. The picture here was taken at the airport and a ton of people got off. Nancy has modern ideas about customer service , and how to run a fleet. Happy Hillary Halloween

Is there anything scarier than Hillary. Some would say Donald Trump, perhaps. My friend set this up on his porch and I thought it was pretty cool. It's not really a political statement, it's just trying to show humor. Keep in mind, that we do live in an era where people seem to have lost their sense of humor. Live Earth concert not about Uber or Bigfoot

This post was from 2007 about the "Live Earth" concert sponsored by Al Gore. It was all crap then and still based on false science such as UFO's and Bigfoot: What world do these people live in? These are aboriginals who opened up Al Gore's LIVE EARTH concert world wide. I'm still not getting it. I mean, does the chick on the right drive an SUV and have a cell phone in her purse? What is with this desire to live in a world with no modern conveniences or science or toilet paper. Al Gore has done a fantastic job in organizing this event to highlight global warming. The mistake he is making is assuming that man is causing it. Let me explain. On one side you have the SCIENTIFIC METHOD. This method is how scientist explain how their theories can be verified or falsified before any real research gets underway. Getting out of the cab

The big mistake many taxi drivers make is not getting out of the cab. Exercise is important and walking is good cardio. S treadmill is boring but going out into natural allows me to truck for miles. I may not find Bigfoot but I'm getting good exercise.

Joe Lopano forces Uber impact fees at Tampa International Airport which is highway robbery

I don't like being robbed at Tampa  International Airport The real reason Joseph W. Lopano let Uber and Lyft into TPA was he projected an increase in fees collected to be 5.2 million in the next two years. He seemed to view this as a revenue generating opportunity when the taxi companies were only able to come up with about 1.2 million a year. This was more than a reason to violate existing law. Joe Lopano (head of TPA) had a long range plan to soak the public and make a GIANT BONUS for himself. I wonder why he was fired in New York and flamed out in Dallas? Just wondering. The Tampa Bay Business Journal confirmed this fact the other day on their website. I knew he was corrupt and this proves it. Lopano stated that reason he let Uber and Lyft into the airport (violating the contract he had with the taxi companies) is he wanted to provide transportation alternatives to the traveling public. Peter Schorsch of SAINTPETERSBLOG supports illegal business in Tampa...surprised? Peter Schorsch  of SAINTPETERSBLOG is biased in his opinion of Uber.
