For the third time in two weeks, an Uber driver has been arrested in Chicago for sexual assult

Adnan Nafasat of Chicago was charged with Kidnapping, unlawful restraint, and sexual assault while driving for Uber X

For the second time in three weeks, an Uber driver in Chicago has been charged with sexual assault. Adnan Nafasat was charged with sexual assault, kidnapping, and unlawful restraint. He was held in Cook County jail on $150,000 bail. According to the arrest report, he was driving for Uber X when t he assault accrued.

From the Chicago Tribune:

"On the early morning of July 31, the 21-year-old victim contacted Uber and asked to be picked up in the 700 block of West Cornelia Avenue in the Lakeview East neighborhood, according to state's attorney spokesman Steve Campbell.
As the victim was about to enter Nafasat's car, he was told to sit in the front seat because the driver said the rear seats were dirty and broken, according to prosecutors.
After the victim gave the driver his destination, Nafasat reached over and grabbed the man's thigh and tried to kiss him, prosecutors said, adding that Nafasat outweighed the victim by more than 130 pounds."

Do I need to go into the details of a gay rape? I don't think so. That is what I have been trying to tell you people all along. Predators will use Uber as an opportunity to get close to victims. Uber and Lyft are not safe to use. Women should not use Ride Share. They should use a licensed taxi company that has screened its drivers through law enforcement. United Cab of Tampa has a criminal background on all of their drivers. The public is being protected.

What Lyft and Uber will take from the Tampa taxi business

A lyft car at the Iconic sign on Florida ave downtown Tampa I have been a hack in Tampa Florida since 1995. Unlike the estimated 50% of Americans that hate their jobs, I have never had a day when I did not feel like going to work. Certainly, the last few years have not been fun because the economy fell apart like a three dollar watch. However, economies are like tides and this one is on the rebound, at a snail's pace. I would like to thank Mr. Obama for that but that would not be fair. The economy is recovering despite any fiscal policy of his. That being said - there are challenges. My job is inherently difficult. We face strange and deranged people street level on a daily basis. Taxi companies in Tampa (which are regulated) must serve the general population. We have no choice. Is there anything scarier than Hillary. Some would say Donald Trump, perhaps. My friend set this up on his porch and I thought it was pretty cool. It's not really a political statement, it's just trying to show humor. Keep in mind, that we do live in an era where people seem to have lost their sense of humor. Getting better

"Shu" has passed away

Billy Shuman 2005 Long time dispatcher and driver for United Cab of Tampa Billy Shuman has passed away. He was the last of a vanishing breed of cowboy dispatchers that could pitch 200 calls an hour and laugh at ya' while he did it. They are all gone now, Pirate, Sleepy, Justin, Shu. They were a group of guys from an era that will never be seen again. Sadly. Shu was the ultimate cab driver and dispatcher. He had a real tolerance for the job and I never saw him lose his cool. If you backed me in a corner, I would have to say Shu was the best dispatcher we ever had. He never got so wrapped up in the job that he did not enjoy life. He was a season ticket holder for the Bucs during the glory years. Because of Shu, I was able to attend many games and watched the Super Bowl Bucs play live. I will never forget that. Shu also loved animals. He fed every animal he ever saw. In fact, there was a great blue heron named Buddy that he fed in the backyard of his house on the Hillsborough ...

Dana Young is a Liar or very confused about Uber

A very bad person with no honor or integrity I attended a meeting at the hockey arena downtown which was attended by all the Tampa Bay area state senators and representatives. In attendance was one Dana Young (R). When it was her time to speak, so told a story about a young women that was being raped. While the college student was being sexually assaulted, the student hit the Uber app on her phone and the police now knew the GPS coordinates of her location. What MS.
