Tampa Taxi Shots

A nice sunset on the Gulf Coast This was taken on Clearwater Beach back in the day. It was shot with film and a cd backup. That was really one of the real advantages of film over digital. You would process your film and actually have the photos to show for it. Who knows where all of our Facebook images will be ten years from now, or the ones you have on your computer. Print them out so you will have them in the future. I am still trying to get back into that kind of shape I was in back them. Swimming is my main line right now because I need the awesome cardio it provides. My blood work is a testament to that. The recession was rough for me. I hope to be able to make up some major ground right now.

Look suspicious? I found a"suspicious package" tucked away in the arrival concourse today at Tampa International Airport. I took the steps from the taxi staging area to the bottom floor where the arrival area is located. This is where the bathrooms are at. Next to the service elevator was a brown box with two suitcases inside. They looked nondescript but looked way to neatly packed for someone who had decided to discard old luggage. What is strange is that in 21 years of working this airport, I have never seen any thing like this. When I came out of the men's room, the box was still there. The concourse was deserted.  There was nobody on this level.  Strange.  Who would leave such a thing behind.  I do not want to get all paranoid but what the fuck was this. The overhead intercom kept saying "if you see anything suspicious, report it to authorities." That is what I was now going to do. Forget about my taxi upstairs, this involved saving lives. Placed o

A nude photo set taken years ago I have been playing with my new Dell Windows 10 and downloading images from old flash drives. Many of the images I had forgotten about. Not this set. Violetta was shot in a suit in Arizona. I can't believe how Windows separated all the sets and dated them. Wow! This computer is awesome.

I just bought my first computer since 2004. The other one lasted ten years and served me well. I have been using a phone for the last two years and that really sucks. The reason is that you have to use your finger tips to find the letters and its really a pain in the ass. Problem solved with this new Dell with 8 gig and 1 tarabite of memory. I pay a monthly fee, so it is in my interest to use it. I have been messing around with this Windows 10 since I bought it home. Not so sure I like it. Too fancy for me and no icons show on the home screen. What is with that? Am I doing something wrong? It will take some time to get used to it. I do like the large amount of memory this computer has. I had a drop off in Clearwater Beach (not far from where I live. I mean their vacation rental was right a beach access. Nice. They were from the cold north and they were ready to enjoy some fun in the sun. Good for them. The locals must work like anywhere else. Across the street was an abandoned Beach house. Perhaps a testament to the economic collapse that disrupted many lives in Florida. As I was looking at it thinking of the potential, this friendly cat emerged. I really hope he was not just left behind. I could see if he was feral. Anyway, hanging out at the beach. Not bad. I named him "Beach Bum."

This is what happens when you don't clear your drivers to law enforcement. You will notice on my left side bar but I have a widget that shows when Uber drivers are arrested anywhere in America. This sort of thing just seems to keep happening on a daily basis. I have been driving taxi Tampa Florida full-time for 21 years and I have never heard of taxi driver ever being arrested. For what reason do people say that they feel safer riding with her. I think that's because they are riding with an American White driver. Please explain to me how that would make you safer. It's amazing how blind people can be to reality with dealing with an unregulated form of transportation. They like it only because it's cheap but their lives are at risk.

I am entered in the St Petersburg Masters swimming Championship meet April 2-3, 2016. It is a regional meet with swimmers coming in from many states. There will be former Olympic swimmers competing in age groups. It is the longest running Masters meet in America. Keep in mind, I am not fast. I am trying hard. My only goal is to finish each event without being disqualified. Just finishing will be victory for me. Consider I could have died over a year ago, this is my gold medal. This is all I'm focused on right now. It is very important to me. I'm already getting nervous. Wish me well.

The Florida presidential primary was yesterday. I voted. I voted for Donald Trump. Like many, my life was disrupted by a bad and weak economy. I'm tired of amateur s running our country. Hillary is a despicable, corrupt politician. Too bad many Americans cannot see that. Trump is our hope.

I have been swimming for exercise since April of last year. I used to have a fast freestyle but not anymore. I have been making slow progress. Yesterday, I bought the Sheila Taormina course on speed freestyle. I love it. I do have fast twitch muscle and power. Her course will develop all of that. I will dedicate myself for the 16 weeks and my results will be on this Blog. I will give 100%. Let's see where that Leeds.
