I saw this "mother ship" flying over downtown Tampa very close to the office towers. As I got closer, I could see it was the Direct TV blimp. It was acutely broadcasting HD TV on the side of it that could be seen from the ground. How cool is that!?

I was sitting getting some sun on my front porch yesterday and heard ole mother ship flying over New Port Richey. By the time I went inside for my trusty camera she was too far away. Planes, boats and Blimps are all called "she". Some even have pronoun names. Betsy is a popular name for planes. Go figure. Later, Larry157
