TAXI CONFIDENTIAL:  A CASE OF MURDER... I got a call at home Saturday afternoon from channel one dispatch saying the Tampa Police were looking for me. Uber Drivers protest the ticketing of drivers It seems the war has only started. The Transportation Commission is not going to let up on the illegal ride share drivers. They have been warned and they are a menace to society. Now, it seems they are the ones protesting. There were about 20 drivers outside the county building while a meeting was going on about trantransportation. They wanted their voice heard, I guess. Their major claim is that the HCPTC protects and outdated form of business. The claim taxi companies are actually a monopoly. This is not true. There are about 48 taxi companies iandin Tampa growing. Bids are taken on medallions every year and the majority of them go to private owners. The Big taxi companies have enough cars to manage and do not want to match active cars with working medamedallions if there are no drivers. What will become a monopoly is Uber. Duncan Burton served 14 years for conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute cocaine, according to court records and the U.S. Bureau of Prisons. He was convicted by a jury in Houston and served time in Beaumont, Louisiana and Georgia before being released in 2012, according to the federal prison agency. Although sentenced originally to 18 years, he had earned nearly three years of good conduct time and had about two years of jail time. Burton, 57, was arrested Wednesday and charged with one count of sexual assault, a second-degree felony. If convicted, Burton faces a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison. He remains in the Harris County Jail without bail. Uber spokeswoman Debbee Hancock said Monday that  Burton passed the company's background checks. She could not immediately be reached Tuesday to respond to the disclosure of Burton's drug conviction. I have THOUSANDS OF SUBSCRIBERS and I have gained another 12 subscribers just over the weekend and growing everyday and you can see I do have MILLIONS OF VIEWS . The latest string of alleged attacks by Uber drivers has many questioning the safety of the taxi service. This week, an Orlando Uber driver was arrested after allegedly putting his hand down his female passenger's shirt . The driver told police the passenger's clothing implied "she was asking for that." Also this week, a San Francisco driver was accused of hitting a passenger in the head with a hammer. Police say the victim suffered trauma to the head and was hospitalized. And in June, a California Uber driver was arrested on suspicion of kidnapping a woman with the intent to sexually assault her. The woman who police say was under the influence of alcohol at the time of pick-up called 911 when she woke up next to her shirtless driver in a motel room. I sort of stick out in this sea of pink I always seem to get on TV. This is Tim Fasano (in the yellow shirt with camera) sitting in the room full of Lyft and Uber drivers. Did you ever feel really alone? These rideshare people are operating an illegal business that is cutting into my livelyhood, and I wanted the Hillsborough County Commission to know it. The Lyft drivers are a bunch of punks and  kids who have never worked a day in their lives. They will get whats coming to them. How do you spell douchebags? Here is a Lyft driver in Tampa putting the stupid mustache on his car (does his insurance company know he is doing this? I bet not). This guy is an asshole who is out trying to take money away from licensed, legal, and insured drivers that are playing by the rules. He looks like a former college student who does not want to serve coffee at Starbucks, so he thinks he can be a hack. I have a few words for these jerks in the video below. Just another van unloading at Tampa international airport. I swear, this town has more transportation then Chicago. Most of these vans are being operated by drivers that were fired by United cab but they still want to drive for a living. So, they start these operations poaching our business. Most of these guys are bums that would be doing day labor if they weren't so lazy too work. I wish the HCPTC would stop granting permits while cab drivers starve

Every few days I pick up some crackhead looking person at TIA and take them to 2727 W MLK Blvd. They have no luggage, from Ohio, and their teeth look like the smoke meth. There must be a doctor in there that is writing scripts on the side. Plus, these assholes never tip. The Tampa police should do an investigation.

I saw this cab bum sitting at a supermarket. It seems to be an off brand cab company. Geez, don't these guys understand that we have too much transportation in Tampa. There is no need for them. There is no money in this unless you work around the clock like this bum probably does. I really hate guys like this.
